Then when Howard came back in, they reverted to double teams, leaving those same guys open.

I'd keep doing what was working in the first half. Let Howard get his and stay home on the perimeter guys. Run them off the 3pt line (and hope Hedo doesn't get freebies for jumping sideways into people behind him).

Also, someone tell Delonte that it's OK to drive against the Magic (he's definitely thinking about Howard in the paint). And I highly doubt that the starting guards will shoot 30% every game.Benhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17210862608619471273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10484377.post-69346069951534798922009-05-21T15:06:29.426-04:002009-05-21T15:06:29.426-04:00Delonte and Many Mo never miss that many shots eit...Delonte and Many Mo never miss that many shots either.. "But the Cavs were up ...This quote from Windhorst:

"But the Cavs were up 15 in doing so because that was it Howard or bust.

Then when things got tight the Cavs abandoned that plan and went back to denying Howard with double teams. That's when Turkoglu, who was flat out great in running high pick-and-roll in the fourth quarter, and Lewis started killing them. Do you know what you call that sort of violent switching the game plan? Did someone say panic? Well it may not have been panic but in comparing it to how they played all year long it looked like it."

So why did they move away from it when it seemed to have been working?
