Seven months removed from training camp and 10 days shy of the start of the playoffs, it's not realistic to make philosophical shifts in the NBA.But it seems the Cavaliers have come to the realization that they need to shake up the way they operate on offense late in games. The team has been struggling to execute in pressure situations, especially the familiar look of LeBron James isolated at the top of the key. Although his multidimensional playmaking skills have won the Cavs plenty of games over the years, even he sees the need to alter some of the play designs.

It might be too little, too late for the Cavs offense. The Bulls are playing amazing basketball (blowout loss to the Raptors notwithstanding), and odds are, they are going to win out and hold fast to that two-seed regardless of what the Cavs do.
Can anybody in the East beat the Bulls right now? Even the Pistons? Color me crazy, but if the Bulls and Pistons are destined for the East Finals, it wouldn't shock me to see the upset.
How sickening would it be as a Cleveland fan to see the Bulls back in the NBA Finals post-Jordan? Or, worse yet, winning a seventh NBA title? It could happen if they reach the Finals and catch the Spurs or Mavs napping, as the Heat did last year.
Is it too much to ask to see a lineup of Gibson, Pavlovic, James, Gooden and Zydrunas? I have a real hard time believing that group would have a hard time scoring (not that I'm completely blaming Hughes... just that it's a more traditional lineup).
