Impact Rookies

Marty Burns gives us 10 rookies that will make an impact this year and looks who clocks in at number 4:

4. Shannon Brown, Cavs
The Cavs need some bench scoring to replace the departed Flip Murray, and this springy 6-4 shooting guard from Michigan State looked good in summer league. The opportunity will be there if he can take advantage of it.

I think Brown will make an impact this season, but it will probably take awhile.

Brown didn't get any first team minutes during Tuesday's game. I'm pretty sure he didn't play until the 4th quarter. Coach Brown isn't going to hand him minutes, but like Burns said, he'll get the opportunity.
