More managers gone

5 managers have been fired this offseason and so far, none of them is named Eric Wedge.

I definitely wouldn't mind Joe Girardi in the dugout. Frank Robinson wouldn't exactly be a bad choice either.

Dusty Baker, Buck Showalter and Felipe Alou are the other guys who've been fired. I don't really care for any of these guys. I like Sabathia not having arm problems, so Baker is out. Alou is too old and Showalter doesn't really generate a whole lot of excitement.

I wasn't a huge Wedge hater, but it wouldn't hurt to take a look at these guys.

I agree with you here about Wedge. I'm more or less in the middle on how I feel about how he's done this far. He DOESN'T generate excitement in the least, and he's not going to win you a game. I concur, Girardi could be the guy here, and also agree that they could or should look around. I have to admit, I would like to see what Pinella would do with this team.
